We have a fun, creative programme of drop-in events running throughout the season. All these events are included in your entry price.
We also have outdoor theatre performances in our Walled Garden as well as our adult craft workshops and yoga. There is a charge for these and you need to book in advance.

Riverhill Gardens and Malabar Cafe at Riverhill are both CLOSED for the winter.
We will re-open for our 2026 season on the 11th of March 2026. Our 2026 season runs until the 1st of November.
Our annual family-friendly Easter Event. Seek out all the sneaky little bunnies, hiding amongst the Rhododendrons, and claim your sweet treat reward.
Join us over the Easter Holidays, this year we are making egg box masks, to wear around the gardens.

We are delighted to be welcoming the Kent Kite Flyers Organisation back to Riverhill!, after a lovely first visit last year.
They will be bringing a selection of kites to demo on the Old Tennis Lawn, as well as kites for people to have a go with. You can also bring along your own kite for some practical help and tips on flying.
A celebration of our incredible fern collection. Plus a chance to learn more about these fascinating and ancient plants.
There will be tours of the Rock Garden, talks about ferns, for all ages, plus fern themed craft activities, fern sales and fern i-d’s.

Matchbox mania has come to Riverhill for our final week of Summer; Is it a bed for a bear or a box for a book? A jolly little house or a cosy wee nook?
Using fabric scraps, buttons and bits and bobs we are making colourful and creative flowers this week in the tipi. All welcome!
Let’s try something different - We reckon that some cardboard tubes, lolly sticks, wool and beads can create a very cool puppet. Excited to see what you come up with!
